Large Financial MNC

Situation : Our client, one of the largest multinational financial institute with presence in 160 countries had administered a multiple perspective feedback multi-rater to members of the senior leadership teams in India. Five country Directors reporting into regional managing directors in the EMEA and APAC regions were amongst a group of 15 others from different geographies who were identified as high potential leaders to take up strategic regional roles with an expanded set of responsibilities and working with global stakeholders. These Directors (M&A, Investment Banking and Shared Services) were responsible for value added advisory and revenues. Only eight positions existed for the next level roles.

Outcome Expected : Enhance internal and external impact, strengthen relationships with key clients through assertive communication, networking within the organization across geographies, decision making, engaging and inspiring team members, peer to peer collaboration and business strategy.

Action : Evidence based executive coaching informed from strategic intent and key success factors. Situational analysis included insights from key stakeholders (global mangers) in terms of expectations and areas of development, got these validated for acceptance and alignment. The coachees signed up for a 6 month coaching journey focusing on key development areas and business outcomes.

Result : 3 of the 5 coachees we worked with delivered the business outcomes set by the organization and transitioned to global roles within the next appraisal cycle. Our coachees filled 3 of the eight positions from the cohort of 18 leaders worldwide.
